Anuronon 2022: The Biggest National Event for Biomedical Engineers
The Department of Biomedical Engineering of MIST hosted a nationwide competition on technology and memory titled "ANURONON 2022" held at MIST Complex in Mirpur Cantonment. More than 300 contestants from 15 universities of Bangladesh including MIST participated in the competition in the categories of Memory Competition, Design Challenge, Project Competition and Poster Presentation respectively. The top 05 participants in each category were awarded in competitions held at various stages throughout the day. The chief guest, Maj Gen Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman distributed crests and prize money to the winners at the prize giving and closing ceremony. Colonel Syed Mahfuzur Rahman, Head of BME Department of MIST, and other Department Heads were present on the occasion. This is the country’s first such competition to recognize the importance of biomedical engineering with a hope to resonate with all the biomedical engineers of the country, create and strengthen a community. The spontaneous cooperation of faculties, judges, military and civilian officers and staffs from various universities, including MIST, members of the Einthoven Club and most importantly, participating students has contributed to the success of "ANURONON 22."
